happy birthday hayao miyazaki

earlier this morning i was quite shocked to see Hayao Miyazaki's name was number 2 on twitter top trending. to tell you the truth, i can only think of some bad things might happen to him. it was only then i found out that it's his 70th birthday today! Happy Birthday Hayao Miyazaki sensei!

for those of you who are not familiar with Hayao Miyazaki and wondering who is this old man, he's the man behind the japanese worlwide famous anime studio, Studio Ghibli. he's a respected man in Japan, especially in the manganime industry. he is a mangaka, a director, and an animator.

 

i don't know about you guys but my all time favorite of his work was definitely My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, and of course.. Ponyo And The Cliff By The Sea.
